Television surveillance systems

PiterEnergoMash designs and mounts television surveillance systems. The systems are designed for automated real-time displaying of the following:
  • Perimeter of a facility with adjacent roads;
  • Inner area (buildings, motion of people and vehicles);
  • Status and operating of equipment;
  • Actions of personnel.
The system provides to storing of all data in a long-term storage archive. IP network camera of high resolution are used as the source signals.

PiterEnergoMash television surveillance systems provide:
  • Control of surrounding areas, current state of an entry (exit) gate and a perimeter of a facility;
  • Control of a current state of equipment and any changes in its status (maintenance, replacement, relocation, etc.);
  • Monitoring and recording of all actions of personnel conducting of routine, scheduled, maintenance, etc. works.

Control of surrounding area includes:
  • Visual assessment of access availability (a state of a road surface, presence of temporary barriers);
  • Recording earth (construction) work held on approaches to a facility;
  • Recording emergencies (smoke, fire, flooding).

Control of facility perimeter includes:
  • Current displaying of an entire perimeter (enclosures / passes)
  • Audio (video) warning of perimeter being violated (by people, animals, objects);
  • Recording of the place and nature of a violation done in the video archive.

Control of vehicular traffic includes:
  • Registration of images of all incoming and outgoing vehicles in the archive.

Control of facility inner area includes:
  • Real-time displaying of general area arrangement for visual assessment of the current situation.
  • Detailed close-up displaying of objects requiring attention applying PTZ cameras;
  • Recording motion of personnel and equipment and work carried out in the area, done in the archive.

The basic structure of television surveillance system

The system consists of several hardware and software levels:

Control level (a system kernel)
  • Central and backup servers with a storage array;
  • Application software;
  • Display monitors;
  • Redundant power supply unit;
  • 19 - inch mounting rack for placing equipment (if required).

Transport level
  • Active network equipment (switches);
  • Switching elements (copper and optical crosses);
  • Cables (optical, copper low voltage);

Signal level
  • Signal sources - cameras (outdoor fixed and rotary speed).

  • Inner space of block modules or rooms with control and process equipment placed in;
  • Indoor premises of administrative purpose;
  • Actions of personnel at starting, switching, maintenance and repairing of equipment.

  • Controlling current situation within the block modules or premises as well as the equipment status (normal, maintenance, replacement, relocation etc.);

  • Controlling emergencies concerning equipment (non-standard stopping, smoke, fire);
  • Recording all changes and emergencies done in the video archive.
